{ Entertaining En Provence }

If you follow me on Instagram, (hint, click here if you don't), then you know that I'm the lucky winner to host Thanksgiving at our house this year. Can you hear the excitement in my voice? Yea, me neither.

So, I've slowly started to prepare for the big day. And by prepare, I mean collect items I want to decorate with. I've planned on how I want the table to look. How many chairs we'll need. What dishes we'll use. Where we'll put the deserts. What kind of name cards I'll make. You know the fun stuff.  I'll leave the food and actual cooking up to my sister in laws. Thanks goodness they're good at that, cause I'm not.

So, it was just my luck that One Kings Lane teamed up with Martha Stewart to bring you
"Entertaining en Provence!" The event is inspired by the South of France.

The sale starts today, 8/14 at 8am PT/11am ET.
It's free and easy to join One Kings Lane. Simply go to their website and sign up.
Sales on One Kings Lane launch at 8am PT/11 am ET and typically last 72 hours, but lucky for us, the Martha Stewart Entertaining en Provence sale will last 27 days!

Quantities are limited – shop early so you won’t miss out! Each day, you will find a mix of:

o Daily Sales – Top-brand and beautifully merchandised assortments from top home decor and lifestyle brands. Shop categories that range from furniture and lighting to rugs, art, accessories, tabletop, bed and bath, travel, kids, pets, stationery, gifts, and much more.

o Tastemaker Tag Sales – These popular events bring our members one-of-a-kind furniture, accessories, antiques and more, personally hand-picked by today's leading design visionaries from their own collections—at well below estimated value.

o Vintage and Market Finds –  The industry’s first curated marketplace brings One Kings Lane members an even broader selection of unique collectibles and timeless pieces from the country’s top designers and antiques dealers. Vintage & Market Finds also allows members to shop by nine categories including: Art, Books, Decorative Accessories, Floor Coverings, Furniture, Lighting, Tabletop, Textiles and Wall Decor. New products are added daily and are sold on Vintage & Market Finds for five days, or until sold out.

So, besides shopping my usual spots, thrift stores, flea markets, vintage markets, I also shop online. A lot.  Sometimes you just don't have the patience to shop the markets in search of the perfect piece. So, the Ones Kings Lane sales are a great connection to have. Believe me, it's worth it to log in and become a member.

I was so happy when I saw these goblets there, 'cause I know I'm gonna need a lot of those.

And this carafe set & chalkboard cheese slab is perfect for nibbles during the football game.

I'll also add some finishing touches to above the fireplace. I like to change it up frequently, so a little something different for Thanksgiving is right up my alley.
This year I'm thinking of hanging a series of images, something like this -

I love the herb pots, and I'm considering keeping them in the center of my dining room table all year long.
This olive wood scoop with sea salt could become a permanent part of my kitchen. We love a pinch of sea salt here and there, and this scoop is too cute to be hidden away.

There is all this and more at the One Kings Lane Entertaining en Provence Sale, so don't miss out.
Quantities are limited, so if you see something you like, go ahead and grab it.

I hope you enjoyed a little peak inside my mind and what I have in store for Thanksgiving this year. It's not to early to start thinking about it, so what are you waiting for? get going.

  1. It sounds like you have got all the fun stuff covered. Decorating and turkey sandwiches are the best part of Thanksgiving, oh yeah and family and friends. But mostly the decorating.

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than
just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all.
However imagine if you added some great pictures or video clips to
give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is
excellent but with pics and clips, this blog could undeniably be
one of the most beneficial in its niche.
