{ PA 100 Mile Yard Sale }

I have always wanted to go to the Longest Yard Sale, also known as the 127 corridor sale. But the dates never worked for me. That sale travels from Michigan all the way south to Alabama. Some day I'll get to that sale.
In the mean time I found out that there is a 100 mile yard sale in my home state of Pennsylvania.
This...was doable!
I whipped out the map and figured out our route.
I found a cutie little campground called Woodlands Campground and reserved a cabin for the weekend.

I was dying to find some vintage treasures at the sale and was happy to see the vintage playground at the campground to get the ball rollin'.

The sale begins on a Friday (some on Thursday) , so I headed out to hit some sales right after our 4 hour drive to the cabin on Friday.

I didn't purchased everything you see here, but they made such great photos, I had to show you them.

I'll be posting projects I made with all these treasure soon...

    I've always wanted to go to the 127 corridor sale and it's not worked out so far. Never heard of the PA 100 mile sale before much closer to home maybe try it next year.

  2. So glad you got to go on a long yard sale. I live close to 127 and for the past 7 years, we wandered all over the KY part. Last year we started at the TN line and made it to the end in AL and ventured on to New Orleans for a quick trip. Last weekend we took part of 127 on the way to my Mother's and a few have already set up and we did stop and buy a couple of things. I don't really need anything, but like you I like to take shots especially of things that cause me to reminisce of my childhood days. Next weekend we hope to start at the Ohio line and make it to the end in Mich. Then we can say we've done it all. Hoping the record breaking cold weather hangs on to make for a great yard sale to enJOY. Hoping ya'll get to make it one of these years. FYI, so far KY and northern TN is the best/busiest areas.
