{Vintage Swimsuits & Shadow Boxes}

We recently spent some time at a friends home in Avalon, NJ.
Gorgeous! It was big and beautiful, and clean and fresh.
Life is simple and easy there.
And...of course I couldn't help but thinking what I would do to it to add this family's
personality to it.

One thing I thought of for one of their large walls was vintage swimsuits, framed in shadow boxes.
So I searched around the blog world and found some great inspiration...

I love the look of the collection. Along with the unusual color scheme.

And, this little number I might just take off the wall and wear to the beach, hah!

What do you think? Do you love the shade box? So many directions you could go with it.

  2. How interesting. I could definitely see these shadow boxes and swimsuits in house at the beach. I suppose if they were really into swimming ...another house might be suitable...:)
    I'm really into swimming! We have stayed in the pool this summer, Pat

    PS: if you stayed in my home for a visit. You could dream up something fantastic for my walls! :)

    1. I know, so cute, right Pat? You could put anything in the shadow box. Another reader suggested her husbands college jerseys.
      And, what's your address? I'm always up for a road trip, lol!

  3. I love this! Kim from Savvy Southern Style just posted a room with one of these hung on the wall! I think it's a great idea.
