{How to make shutters - The Video}

Earlier in the summer I posted about the shutters I made for our house. And, how I painted them.

Here's the video that explains how to make your own shutters.
If you've been dying to make them, Fall is the perfect time. The weather is perfect for painting and you won't sweat as much as I did while making them!
Good luck. Let me know how the shutter turn out. I'd love to see them.

  1. Will you be sharing how you hang them? I've always wanted board and batten shutters!

  2. I am sohappy to see your post. I have been thinking of making new shutters for our house. These are terrific and I would never have thought about staining over the paint. It is really dusty here and that would solve the problem of keeping them clean.
    Thanks,

  3. I love the color you used for your new shutters. I haven't found where you live but it's a beautiful place and I can hear the variety of birds you have living around your home which I love. All that space too, wow, love that.

    Good Day,
    Karla
